Flow Wallet now distinguishes Verified from Unverified tokens, so you can trust that verified tokens you see correspond to the correct on-chain smart contract(s).
Verified tokens display a green checkmark badge next to their name. This mark means the Flow Wallet team have confirmed its smart‑contract address, token metadata, and name.
Unverified tokens lack the green verified badge. An unverified token is not necessarily unsafe, it simply means the token hasn’t yet been through our verification process. Unverified tokens may still be perfectly legitimate, but you should double‑check their contract details before interacting with them.
For any unverified token you wish to interact with, you can view the tokens contract details under the "security" section of it's token detail page. You should compare it's smart contract details against the official project documentation or block‑explorer listing. Once confirmed, you can interact with confidence.
Does your favorite token still show as unverified? If so, please reach out to us on Discord, and we'll guide you through the process.
