Flow Wallet to support Secure Enclave on iPhone

VANCOUVER, CANADA — September 19, 2023 — Flow is the on-chain home for globally recognized Web3 projects and brands like Barbie, Doodles, NBA Top Shot, Hot Wheels NFT Garage, Star Wars, Ticketmaster, and more.

Flow launched Flow Wallet in September 2023 to promote safe user experiences on Flow by implementing secure key management techniques and account recovery mechanisms.

Apple have pioneered safe key management with iPhone's secure enclave technology, which enables iPhone users manage private keys directly on their device. Flow Wallet on iPhone will leverage secure enclave for key management, since secure enclave supports ECDSA P-256 keys which are also deliberately supported by Flow's account abstraction for this purpose.

Flow believes by empowering users to use their iPhone's secure enclave as part of their non-custodial wallet on Flow, users can benefit from the reputation and security of their iPhone while enjoying true ownership of their assets on Flow.
